To what portion of the Site does this policy apply?
What is personal data and what information do we collect?
We will only ever collect the information we need- including data to help improve our services- or which you agree we can collect. Personal data means information that can be used to identify you. It can include:
- Your name
- Your contact details whether personal or business, including postal address, email, telephone numbers along with your preferences as to which of these we should use to contact you in the future.
- Payment information such as bank account, direct debit, debit or credit card details.
- Your position within an organisation.
- Internet Protocol addresses, details of pages visited on our websites and files downloaded.
- Other personal information or sensitive data you share with us.
What information do we collect?
When you attend a meeting or have a conversation with us via email, telephone, or in person either inside or outside our premises in Lisburn, and provide us with information about yourself.
Information available publicly
This may include information found in publicly available sources such as Companies House, LinkedIn, government websites and information that has been published in reputable media.
Our Site does not automatically collect any personally identifying information from you. We do however collect information that you voluntarily submit to us via our "Request an Estimate" form (powered by Jotform) or by email, which we then use only to respond and follow up with your enquiry. This information is treated as confidential and is not at any stage shared with or sold to third party companies, individuals or organisations.
We use Google Analytics to monitor traffic levels, search queries and visits to this website. Google Analytics stores IP address anonymously on its servers in the US, and neither A1 City Print or Google associate your IP address with any personally identifiable information. These cookies enable Google to determine whether you are a return visitor to the site, and to track the pages that you visit during your session.
How do we use personal data
The information we collect helps us to deal with customers and suppliers in a way that is effective and timely. We will use whatever personal information you provide us to help us provide you with services and resources, which you have requested from us; and to follow up on previous and pending orders.
We will not send you marketing communications, however we may from time to time contact you with information that you may find useful (for example, holiday closure dates). You can opt out of such communication at any time by contacting us on email@example.com
For the purposes of record keeping, current and past correspondence, including but not limited to emails and letters which may include some of your personal information, may be kept in our premises in Lisburn either on computer or within files.
All this information may only be kept as long as we deem necessary and may be disregarded without prior notice.
Print files, either generated by us or passed on to us either via email or USB, which include, but limited to, text, images and logos/branding, and all associated files may be kept by A1 City Print, especially when a ‘re-print’ may be required in due course.
Print files may also be passed on and viewed by other service providers who perform functions on our behalf but only if absolutely necessary to fulfill the order effectively. We carry out checks on these companies before your files and/or data is passed on and an order is placed and they are required to destroy this information once that function has been carried out. Files held by us may be destroyed, with or without prior notification, mostly when the particular job appears to be a ‘one-off’ or we haven’t produced orders for a particular job or client for a considerable amount of time. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org should you prefer us to hold onto your files indefinitely.
Protecting your personal data
We take reasonable precautions to ensure any information and files you submit to us is safe, however as the internet is not 100% secure, any data submitted online is submitted at your own risk. We regularly review any information and files we keep and ensure is not kept any longer than absolutely necessary.
